Sunday, Jan. 21, during the SS hour — A child protection training will be offered for individuals who have recently become “Approved Adults” for working with children. Current “Approved Adults” who have not had a training for three years are also encouraged to attend this training. You can stay ahead of the game, or you can wait for five years and attend a mandatory training. It would be great to see some folks get retrained prior to five years to avoid a mad dash at the end.
